Emily Schofield b:1890 in Philadelphia USA of English parents, Thomas Schofield & Mary Margaret Walker. Thomas died in Phiadelphia in 1890. Mary Margaret Schofield married again to a John Bromley, 1891 in Philadelphia. Came back to England I think between 1892-1896. She is in the 1901 Census as being adopted by her Aunt Maria Oddy (nee Walker).I do not know what happened to her after then. Any help would be appreciated

In 1911 she was not with Charles and Maria Oddy and I cannot see her under the Schofield name in England. She may have married, there were several possible marriages in the Oldham district where the Oddys lived and probably more elsewhere. I have looked at the most probable ones to find her under a married name in 1911, without success. She could be anywhere but I suspect that she may have returned to the USA when she was old enough to travel alone or with a friend.
