I am trying to find the parents of Jeremiah JOHN born about 1821 in Washington County Pennsylvania. The 1st record that I have is from Quaker minutes in February 1840 for his transfer from Westland Monthly Meeting in Washington County to Redstone Monthly Meeting in Fayette County so that he could accept an apprenticeship in their area. In March of 1842 he was disowned from Redstone for not attending meetings. Sometime before 1845 he married Mary Faull the daughter of Thomas Faull in Fayette County (their children were Elizabeth bn 1845, Martha F bn 1848, William bn 1851, Mary bn 1854, and Thomas G bn 1865). In the 1850, 1860 and 1870 census he is living in Fayette County showing his occupation to be a moulder.
