Mary was my Great-grandmother, I know that she moved from the Knoxford, New Brunswick Canada area with my Great-grandfather (Earl S. MacDonald DOB:3/14/1902 DOD:1/20/1977) to Hershey Pennsylvania were my Grandmother, Madeline "Maggie" Viola MacDonald (Maggie later married Austin Brooks Sr. in Connecticut) was born. The family then moved north to Oxford Connecticut were she lived until her death Dec. 31, 1987... she was laid to rest beside her husband in the Cutlers Farm Cemetery in Monroe Connecticut.

Anyway that is the information that I have (My Aunt said she believes that Grandma Mac's maiden name was Tompkins... My Mother is trying to locate Grandma Maggie's birth certificate and see if it is listed on it.

(I have always enjoyed listening to stories of our family history - however, my daughter has health problems that we have tracked by symptoms to Grandma Mac's side of the family... and after reeding a book (that had nothing to do with my family) I have a number of questions that about any Amish or Mennonite communities that maybe living in the Mars Hill, Maine area & those living in New Brunswick, Canada.

One thing I don't understand is that you say "My Aunt said she believes that Grandma Mac's maiden name was Tompkins".

Her Fathers name was Earl S. MacDonald so her maiden name was MacDonald not Tompkins.
