I have Elizabeth Claridge in my family tree and this is the only info I have on her.

She married Joseph James Quarman (b 1786 in St. James, Bristol). I need her birthdate and place of birth and their marriage date and place.

Joseph James's father was Joseph Quarman B1752 and married to Ann Jefferies in 1777.

Joseph married a second time to Hannah Webb but no info as to did they have any children.

Where was Ann Jefferies born and date and also where was Hannah Webb born and what dateand when and where they got married.

Please if you can help me on this one I will be most grateful. Thank you so much

Best regards

Colleen

Hello Robert,

My goodness you people are geniuses, how and where the hell are you able to get all this information. I have been trying for the last 5 months and could not come up with anything. This is definately my Elizabeth Claridge. Every time I have a query and write to you people you come up with the right answers, I wish I were as clever as you all. I have quite a few brick/cement walls which I cannot get through and I dare'nt ask anyone.

You see Robert I was born in India and as a result have difficulty in finding some of my ancestors there. Many of them were born in England but others went out there during the wars and stayed on there. I cannot for the love of me trace my maternal grandfather and great grandfather nor my paternal great great grandfather.

I am deeply grateful to you for your work and time in getting the above information for me. Thank you a million times over and God Bless you.

Best wishes

Colleen.

Thank you so much

Your quite welcome. It's not magic, it's ancestry.com. They have almost anything you're looking for.

I joined a few years ago and managed to trace parts of my family back to the 1400s. I created a GEDCOM file at Ancestry and loaded it down to my old Tribal tree.

I just recently joined the European lookup and can now find info there.

Not cheap but a lot of information. Check them out.

Hi again Robert,

I joined FMP World much to my regret as being a pensioner I cannot really afford joining these places. I have not been able to find very much on there. I wish I knew about Ancestry at the time and would have joined that instead.

I will just have to stick with asking favors from kind people like you to get my information. Another thing is that I live in Mallorca and there is no info available here at all, not even a LDS place to use.

Any way I will just have to plod along.

Very best wishes Robert and Happy Landing with your family Tree

Regards

Colleen
