There are 2 children on the listing who appear in their own dropdown box which is headed "Unknown Partners Children" - that's fine and all correct.

Their mother later marries and has children to her 'then husband' this all appears fine, listing him as their father.

But, every time I go in to 'edit' this man - or the woman's 2 previous children: a box always appears wanting me to confirm that the children are those of the 'now husband' giving his name.

I always un-check the two childrens' names (so as not to confirm) then click OK, which should answer the question. However, every time I work on those same people the box keeps coming up.

Frustrating. How do I convince the system that he is not their father(?!)

Just to let you know that it worked.

I called the 1st Spouse -"Mr Unknown" who now shows as "P" which I assume is for partner - and the 2nd Spouse "M" for married now appears below that one, with his children listed for him.

When I sign out after working on this family the annoying box no longer comes up! Thankyou, Marjery
