Marshall had a second wife Catherine Price, married
1876,proven, so the children born after that were the children of Marshall and Catherine Price Mabe. Elizabeth C. Mabe and Catherine Mabe are two different people.
Where did you get that Elizabeth Casandra Mink Mabe died in Grayson Co. VA. in 1929. I have an Elizabeth Mabe,1929 buried beside my GGrandfather Thomas Matney Mabe in Pine Grove Cemetery, Southside, Mason Co. WV. The only Elizabeth in Thomas's family was my Grandmother and she died in 1980 and buried in St. Albans, WV.
I found a Thomas Mayab, 1840 Census, Washington Co. VA but there was also a Leander or Lander Mabe there at the same
time. I'm kind of leaning toward Thomas, no proof, because
of my GGrandfather name.
