Thank you

In 1841 a George Buckwell age 15 (covers ages 15-19 in 1841) is living with a probable mother Amelia and several probable siblings, including a Thomas and an Edward, in the parish of Chailey. Relationships and places of birth were not given in 1841, so we can only surmise. In 1851 a George Buckwell, age 26, born Chailey is living in Chailey with brothers Thomas and Edward, so it is a reasonable assumption that these are from the family with Amelia as head in 1841. A George Buckwell was buried in Chailey, age 38, on 25 March 1863, again I would presume to be the same person.
Family Search gives the baptism of a George Buckwell in Fletching, 6 June 1824, parents Thomas and Mary. I cannot see this family in 1841 but there is a George Buckwell, age 15, in the Uckfield Workhouse. In 1851 a George Buckwell, 27, born Fletching is living as a lodger in Fletching, he seems to have married a Harriett Turner in the Uckfield district in the last quarter of 1860 and they are together in 1861. This person seems to me to be the George Buckwell which you claim to be a relative, presumably something happened to his parents, either they just fell on hard times or one or both died when he was young.
I appreciate it.
Ted
A Mary Buckwell age 30 was buried in Fletchling, 2 Nov.1824
A John Buckwell, age 41 was buried. 6 Nov 1835.
I cannot see a marriage between a John Buckwell and a Mary but there are two other baptisms in the parish with parents John & Mary, John, 24 Oct.1819 and Charity, 19 May 1822. A John Buckwell was baptised in the parish 19 April 1795, son of Edmund and Charity.
If you purchase a copy of the marriage certificate between George and Harriett it should give Georges father's name, which will confirm or otherwise if his father was John, providing he knew who his father was, as it seems he was probably an orphan by age 6.
