On 28/2/1841 in Northampton George was convicted of attempted highway robbery and assault and sentenced to 14yrs transportation. He sailed abojard the convict ship SURREY1 on 15/07/1831. We believe he returned to merry old England late 1840s. We also think the name Barlow might of been changed from Barley/Barlee while in the colonies.
