Hi!

In your tree you list a "Joseph Boydston ???". Am a member of Ancestry.com and the have a record for Joseph Boydston in the 1820 US Federal Census. Please see attached.

Name Joseph Boytstan

Home in 1820 (City, County, State) Seal, Pike, Ohio

Enumeration Date August 7, 1820

Free Colored Persons - Males - 26 thru 44 1

Free Colored Persons - Males - 45 and over 1

Free Colored Persons - Females - 14 thru 25 3

Free Colored Persons - Females - 26 thru 44 1

Free Colored Persons - Females - 45 and over 1

Total Free Colored Persons 7

Total All Persons - White, Slaves, Colored, Other 7

As you can see, it list the oldest colored male as being 45 yrs old which I am assuming is the head of household, Joseph Boydston. So if he is 45 in 1820, then he had to be born around 1775. I also have the 1830 US Federal Census if you would like me to send it's info as well. Hope this was helpful. Happy Hunting.

Sincerely,

Patti
