Elizabeth Stokes (convict) B:1780 warwick, England
Elizabeth arrived in NSW 1803 on the Glatton, then on to Norfolk Island sometime the same year.
In june 1803 Elizabeth stokes marries Joseph Genders (ginders, Jenders, Jinders)
in 1808 on the City of Edinburgh Joseph Genders, Elizabeth Stokes and Daughter Ann Stokes(B1797 Warwick, England?) make their way to VDL.
Jospeh and Elizabeth reside at kangaroo Point. I have Elizabeth passing as Elizabeth Ginders wife of Jospeh Jenders .
Daughter Ann Stokes (also used Genders for her surname) married William Smedley
What i need help with is did Ann Stokes come aboard the Glatton with her mother as a 4 /5 year old or was Ann born on Norfolk Island..
Also Who were Elizabeth's Parents? I cant read if it states it on her convict record or not..
Any help would be amazing
Thank you in advance
Corinna

Well done. A very comprehensive bit of research. I almost wish Elizabeth Stokes was in my tree.
Ted
Thank you for your help and your reply, have managed to fill in a few dates and gaps :)
I'm still not sure if Ann Stokes who married Humphrey Lynch is Elizabeth mother... Elizabeth would have been around 8-10 when her mother was transported in 1790 and she didn't come out with her mother then.. but convicted herself and arrived in 1803..
Back to find Ann Stokes convict record i think is next on the list..
Again thank you Robert for your help .
