hi,

My family spell their surname Jerkins but I am beginning to wonder if Juggins was the original family name.

I am able to track 'without doubt' back to William Jerkins, a solder born 1770 in unknown part of London, and I am inclined to think he may be the son William born 1770 to William Juggins and Philis Parrot, baptised at St James, Clement Danes, Middx - ie: grandson of Thomas Juggins and Elizabeth Dymmock.

Does anyone know which William Juggins was the Curate of St James, Clerkenwell? That is only one of my trillion questions.
