All Events have a separate Notes field, but no such tool exists for Marriage.

Trying not to list church in Marriage Place field, want to keep Place with pure location data I have added a Custom Event called Wedding to overcome that.

But then I have to duplicate the Place and Dates info from the Marriage block, AND, I need to add the Wedding Event for both persons in the marriage. And then the same info is shown twice on the normal pages, once as Marriage info and again as Wedding info. Marriage notes useful to list church, witnesses, cleric, etc. .

Could you please add a Notes field to use with the Marriage info? This would eliminate three entries of the same data, and would only need to enter once to show up for both people.

I know this is an old post, but I agree with the request. I end up putting details such as the name of the church in the marriage "Place" field.
