Instead of having the Connections return only distant by marriage common ancestors.

When the connections function is ran have it target the maternal & paternal surnames as the main returns. This would be a lot more helpful finding direct blood line links.

Also, it would be nice to list the surnames that are returned so I do not have to waste my time opening results that are not direct blood line and therefore not much help with my immediate family tree research.

Have you used FAMIY LINES on your site that can give you BLOOD lines etc?
