The other point is it seems , as I look at my photographs and yours that this only shows as a Visitor sees the site.
Am I correct that I can add anything to your photograph ( A very dangerous thing to be able to do ) unless you can DELETE this comment CAN YOU?

"Comment" does not come up under your photo's for me and neither does it show in my tree if I am not logged in. Therefore, it appears it is only family members and, presumably, invited guests who can add a comment to photo's.
There is provision to delete a comment. I will ask a family member of my tree to check out the photo to which I added comments and, if possible, to add a comment themselves.
Wondering if family members can write a comment but can only be seen by tree owner/administrator. ??
You can check this Alan by my HELLO on you LINK in previous entry.

Seems strange you cannot see the words "add comments" under photo's in your site when logged in. Why different for the two sites ?.
I have just had a reply from the member (guest) of my site and she cannot see the messages I have posted against the photo. Neither can she see the words "add comment". All very strange. She is wondering if she was logged in and I have asked her to have another look. Will keep you posted.
Could Tribalpages Support tell us how this "add comments" feature is supposed to work. The way it appears at present is that it only works for me and I don't want to send comments to myself. At least it appears photo's are safe from non site members being able to post comments on other persons site photo's.
"I just remembered that I was invited by someone else to look at their Tribalpages site and I used a different password. I have used this on your site and I can log in and also I can see your comments under the photo of Alfred but nobody elses. Also the other photo of Alfred has an “ADD COMMENTS” underneath it. All very weird."
I have sent a message to Tribalpages Support asking how come she cannot log in to my site using the password I set and that she has been using for several years, when she can log in using a password meant for another site.
Does setting your own password for a site mean you are automatically required to use that same password for all Tribalpages sites for which an invitation to view has been given ?.
Cannot think of a reason why this would be a problem however I would like to know exactly what does apply.
It also appears from her reply that invited members/guests can read the "comments" and use the "add comments" that appears under photo's.
