But I was referring instead to "Standard" Events.
Custom Events show up inexplicably as "CUS2 Citation" at the bottom of the individual's screen (although they are shown correctly in the Citations screen). This has been complained about in the Technical Forum by others several times in the past.
Of more concern, Custom Events seem not to be correctly exported in a GED file from TP, and so cannot be imported into another genealogy program.
Please understand that as a TP customer of many years, I am not looking for workarounds in this Feature Request Forum, rather I am putting forward considered suggestions to TP as to how to improve their product.
