If people show on an ancestor report more than once, particularly in different generations, the program loops uncontrollably. I ran a 25-generation Ancestor Report that came out at more than 1300 pages. Trying to fix it by hand is just as confusing.

The programming follows a very logical pattern from generation to generation but the problem comes out when you have the same person in more than one generation, and with multiple children all in the same ancestral lineage. All of their ancestors repeat again in the earlier generations, and their ancestors repeat, and their ancestors repeat, so going back in time, the report grows exponentially. I can provide an example if requested.

Might I suggest an easy fix? Please write a quick code to not allow the person's name to show on the report twice. That would also stop all of their previous generations from printing multiple times.
