Family trees seem designed to require more data entry points than are necessary leading to more key board movements and so slowing down the process building the tree. With a lot of data to enter one soon becomes tired af the time being taken to type in the data and for the program to process each piece of information. A family tree program should have one place of entry for Bths/Chr.Bap, another for Dth/Bur., and another for Mar/Div.. That's three blocks of activity against the present six and a reduction in waiting time between "saves"
It should not be nescessary to "Enter" each block of data separately and wait for the program to accept it. The slower a program accepts separated data the worse the problem. The fastest processors with programs requiring many points of data entry soon become tiresome.
