Your website sends outs a newsletter to you and family members that you choose once every two weeks.
Each newsletter is customized to that family member. It details upcoming birthdays and anniversaries of their close relatives (showing the relationship) of that family member and any related website activity like recently added names or photos.
The newsletter to the site owner will also contain a detailed website activity log.
As you build or view your family tree TribalPages will match names against its various databases (Census, Death Records (SSI) and Family Trees). If one or more matches are found the smart match icon is displayed next to that name. The Smart Match results will display a confidence indicator with each match along with any details of the match.

An ahnentafel is a genealogical numbering system for listing a person's direct ancestors in a fixed sequence of ascent. This report includes birth, marriage, death dates and places of ones ancestors and their children spanning several generations.
A text document in outline format that shows descendants of a base couple for a user-designated number of generations. The report is split into multiple sections, one for each generation.
You can choose to include pictures of individuals in these reports.
Trace bloodlines in your family tree. Select names whose bloodlines you would like to highlight. Choose either Ancestor, Descendant or Bloodline option and pick a color. Now, every related name in your family tree will show the corresponding color coded bloodline icon.
TribalPages places its sponsors' advertisements on Free Sites. You and visitors to your site will soon see advertisement banners that TribalPages will place on your site. Payed sites will not have any advertising.

You can choose to include your website in TribalPages Search Engine, Smart Match and Connections databases. If you pick this option, details of deceased names are included. When fellow genealogists or relatives find your site, they can either visit your site, request an invitation from your or send you a message, depending on your privacy settings. Paid site rank higher in the search results.
Other Search Engines
Based on your privacy settings, you can choose to have deceased names in your site listed in popular Internet Search Engines. If you select this option, TribalPages will actively promote your family tree by submitting your website to these search engines.
