I began work on this site as a tribute to Gram. She loved her children, and their children, and their children's children, with all her being.
They were her pride and joy, and I doubt that a day went by, that each and everyone of them didn't pass through her thoughts. Her family meant everything to her, and that love was extended to her brothers and their families as well. From her, I learned the importance of family. It may be the greatest gift she gave me.
I had to start with someone, so I chose Aaron Wheeler, an ancestor of Gram's.
I have recently been doing further research on ancestry.com and have come across additional info on John and his wife (Agnes) Ann. Ann or Agnes Yeomans, b. 1590, Salisbury, England; d. August 15, 1682, Newbury, Mass., along with husband John Wheeler, is listed in the ancestry of Frances Folsom Cleveland, wife of President Grover Cleveland, 22nd and 24th president of the U.S. She and John are also ancestors of U.S. Presidents Herbert Hoover, James Garfield, George H. W. and George W. Bush, and Gerald Ford.
The family line leading up to Aaron Wheeler follows:
