Hi, my name is Steve and I am the Webmaster of this site. The original site was created July 9th,  2007 under my name and I have now imported all the information from the old site to this one. It was created to honor the memory of my maternal grandfather "Africa" Kurian Alapatt and my maternal aunt Elizabeth (Baby) Alapatt-Puzhikunnel. 
 Most of the information on this site has been obtained from the book "A Brief History of Alapatt Family, Neezhoor, Kerala, India" by my Aunt Josephine Alapatt-Neicheril. She has now enthusiastically embraced this site and has corrected and added more information and will continue to do so in the future. I would like to thank her for her enormous contibution without which this site would not have been possible. Also contributing to this site is my brother Joseph Theccanat, my mother Teresa Theccanat and my cousin Jeffy (Joseph) Puzhikunnel.
 One important benefit of this family tree is the ability to identify two individuals and find out how they are related by clicking on the "People" tab and then clicking on the  relationships button. 
 Some details such as the full birth date of family members are hidden. Please contact me if you would like access to this information. Please also contact me if you would like corrections or additions to be made. I hope that you will enjoy reviewing this site as much as I have enjoyed setting it up.
