About Hood, Hogan, Reynolds, Wadsworth and more
I began researching my family tree after my best friend asked me to assist her with her genealogy. I'm particularly interested in tracing my two "brick wall" lines --- both my paternal and maternal grandfathers.

My paternal grandfather and his brothers, Frank, Shelly and John Law, were abandoned by their father Tom Law, around 1890 in Little Texas (Macon County) Alabama. I'm looking for any information on Frank or Tom Law. Frank served in the Spanish American War and contact was lost after that.

My maternal grandfather was Robert Albert Lee, born 1904 in South Carolina. His father was named Reuben H Lee (b. 1875) and his mother was Mary Nancy Wilcox (b. 1890), both born in South Carolina. Great-grandpa already had a family by another wife. Mary Nancy Wilcox is supposed to be 1/2 Cherokee and Reuben Lee's draft registration card has "Indian Citizen" checked so he may be as well. I cannot locate anything further back for either
 of them.

Please be aware that I accepted some information published by a cousin of mine on our family without verifying any of it so you need to check everything for yourself.

If we're related, or you find information on someone you recognize, let me know.

The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
