About BOTH SIDES NOW - O'Shea/Miller (& associated) Family tree - To Oz
Welcome to the ever increasing and wide-spreading family tree of the Miller and O'Shea families in South Australia, their ancestors and associated families. This project will always be a work in progress. We are the product of those who went before, who paved the way for the lives, opportunities and experiences we have been privileged to have had. We are also history in the making for those yet to come.
I hope that not only will this journey be interesting, informative and increase the family knowledge and appreciation for the tapestry of our history, but also be a useful reference for our descendants and other more distant family members who are researching different branches of the family tree. I am learning so much, and am forever grateful to those kind strangers (at first) who guided me through the initial steps of this project.

A VERY BIG THANK YOU to so many people, both related and not, on both sides of the globe, who have provided information, allowed me to access their trees, or helped with lookups and other research, or enabled me to. Andy, Rick, Susan, Denise, Brett, Andrea, Graham R, Sharon, Brian W, Margaret K, Sue, Peter, Paul W, Ann N, to name but a few - thank you all very much! You all know who you are!
I would love to hear from anyone who has further information to add or corrections to make, especially anyone who has not only names, dates, places etc (though that would be good) but also stories and recollections of the people who are our common ancestors.(And yourselves - remember, we are the ancestors of the future generations. (Sounds weird doesn't it???)

Enjoy, and come back to visit as the site will continue to grow as quickly as i have the time to do it. You are welcome to sign my guest book before you leave the site, and contact me by email if you have any suggestions, additional, updated or corrected information, or just want to link up with family. Love, happy researching and good health to you all, Barb

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
