This website represents an almost complete list of the surnames I have  collected over the years for my `One-Name`, Study into the name Blakeston and  it`s variants. I have delibrately chosen not to include sources or notes. I  have these elsewhere. Many of the families included have supportive  documentation. I cannot stress enough, however, that in many others there has  been a degree of conjecture. I am always updating my files and to a degree rely  on the co-operation of others in confirming or denying the information I put  together. I really hope that anybody looking at this database will help me  likewise. Please don`t take all the details as gospel.

I would like to emphasise that I would really value the involvement of those  who can take part in the current `Gene-Study,. I hopw we can all help each  other.
