Hi! You are looking at the results of my research into my family heritage. Some of the major family lines are Bradshaw, Millison, Maunder, Turton, Thorp, Chapman, Burnard, Seaver, Hawley, Boardman, Yale, and Ackerman. Most of the lines are English. The Ackermans were Dutch, and the Millisons came from Germany. I have ancestors that settled in New England and Virginia in the 1600s and ancestors that settled the Missouri and Kansas frontier.
Do not take anything here as gospel without verifying the sources for yourself. While I do strive for accuracy and listing my sources, there is much material that has been "borrowed" and I'm sure there are many errors, especially in some of the older lines. The Yale family in particular stretches back into medieval times, royal genealogies, and even mythology. There are a lot of lines that I have not yet gone back and tried to document. I am focusing primarily these days on verifying the closest generations to me. To follow my research progress, please visit my genealogy blog at http://bradshawgenealogyblog.wordpress.com
