About Brian Ovenden Family Tree
Hi,

I first started my Dad’s Family Tree in 1989 & with heaps of help from my Great Aunty Pat managed to get a good collection of names & families together. Then, as the internet expanded, & more & more information became available, our little Family Tree started to grow, & continues to grow, beyond both our expectations.

For privacy reasons, I have only included people on this Tree who were born before 1933 & have omitted date of births for anyone still alive.

I would like take this opportunity to send a great big thank you to the following people whose input has helped to make my Dad’s Tree what it is today: Pat Ovenden, Rob Wills, Cathy Branch, Dom Tisdell, Sharon Connell, Coral Nash, Jim Dean, Diane Fairhall, Queenie Johnson, Mark O’Rourke, James Sainsbury, Tim Smith, Mike Gallafent & Micheal Gooley.

On my Mother’s side, I would like to thank my Aunty Emily for her invaluable knowledge & information; I would also like to thank Stephen Morgan, Stella Fitzgerald, Pauline Govier & Monica Saunders for their input.

I would also like to thank my other half, Dale, who pretends to listen to me every time I go on & on about my family tree, (as you do) even though he really isn't interested.

I hope you enjoy looking through Our Family Tree & I hope you find what you are looking for. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you find something that is incorrect or if you have any information to add, no matter how small, as all additions & corrections are welcome.

Thanks

Di :o)

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
