About Buckley/d'Armand/Wilkie/Giles
Please sign in to see more. This site is an attempt to consolidate as much as possible all the work that has already been done by many different family members, and others, and to update that information when possible. The lions share of that work was done by my grandfather, Roscoe Carlisle d'Armand, who spent a lifetime researching, and publishing in 1954, DeArmond Families of America. Though he passed away before I was an adult, as a child I spent many wonderful hours with him at his magical home Beech Hill in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is his work that has led to my progressing interest in this field.
If after viewing this site, you have any corrections, additions, or suggestions, please let me know. If you have stories of interest about loved ones that would help keep their memories alive, I would be glad to include them. Of special interest to me is collecting photographs of family members, past and present.
I hope that anyone viewing this site gets at least half the pleasure and wonder that I continue to get from putting it together.
