About Burns-Falkey Family Tree
Please sign in to see more.
This family tree is based on the family history of the site administrator, Theresa Burns. Generations reach both forward and backward from the date of her birth. The main trunks of the tree are the Burns family of Scotland and the Falkey family of Germany and it branches extensively into related families.

The majority of the members of both families were born in or around Phelps, New York. The information used in this tree was obtained from Phelps cemetery directories, Phelps and Federal census reports, family narratives, family documents (including family bibles), and online geneology sources. In order to make future geneology research easier, all married females are listed by their maiden names (when known), followed by a dash, then by their married name(s).

Of note is that the Benton and Maffett families - though not biologically related to Theresa Burns - are included here, and the Bentons are traced back as far as The Mayflower. An ancestor in the Hicks family can also be traced to the Mayflower.

A family tree, as they say, is never finished. So if any visitors to this site find incorrect information, have questions, can provide missing information, would like to add pictures, or seek further information not furnished on the site, please feel free to contact Theresa via the 'send a message' or 'contact me' link provided above.
