The 2024 Mauk Family Reunion will be held August 24 & 25, 2024. See below for more details!
About Jacob & Susannah Walters Mauk Family

The 124th Mauk Reunion will be a two day event on August 24 & 25, 2024.

This year’s Mauk Family Reunion will be a two-day event:

On Saturday (August 24, 2024) we will be in the meeting room at the Cobblestone from 10 am till 4 pm for a Genealogy Day. The Cobblestone offers free public wifi so it’s a great opportunity to bring your tablet or laptop to confer with other Mauk descendants.

On Sunday (August 25, 2024) we will be at Little Leo as usual from 9 am till 3:30 pm for our traditional potluck lunch family reunion.

Four our out of town cousins we have a group rate of $116.99 per night at the Cobblestone. This is a 10% discount on current rates. Room rates may rise over the summer but our rate is locked in until July 23, 2024. The only way to get our group rate is to call 814-938-5144 by that date, tell them you are part of the Mauk Reunion and reserve your room.

Please check back for more specific information!

********************************************************************************

This Mauk tribal page was created by JoAnne Shively and the results of her many years of research are documented here on this website. JoAnne was also the administrator of the Mauk website on MyFamily.com until it was closed down by Ancestry.com. (The contents of that website were moved to Spokt and can still be seen there by family members.)

JoAnne first attended the Mauk reunions as a child. I believe her grandmother brought her to the reunions. JoAnne was president of the Mauk Association and the reunion for 16 years and she kept the reunions going. It is because of JoAnne's hard work and dedication that we have so much information about Jacob & Susannah and their descendants. It is because of JoAnne that we can stay connected as Mauk cousins.

Over the last few years this website has been updated with the help of Dana Brown and Adarsh Khalsa .

THANK YOU! (Donald Sigwalt, Alexander line)

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
