Many of you know me but for those of you who have just stumbled upon my site, my name is Candice
Martin and for a while now I have been researching my family. That was when my nitemare began. I
started doing genealogy in order to find out who I was. I spent many years in foster care, because I
was put in State's custody as a young child. I have always wanted to know about my ancestors- who
they were, what they were like, and what they did. Most family members come out from the wood work
when you get rich. So I guess I either need to get rich or keep climbing-splinters and all!! I
haven't had the opportunity to update this site in recent years, but am gradually getting back to
it, and have uploaded new pics of my daughter as well as updated information on deaths in the
family.
Some of you know me as an author. My first book was released in December 2005, my second one,
"Reflections In My Tears" came out in June 2006 and my third book, "The Box" which is NOT a
collection of poetry, but instead a full fiction novel came out in October 2009. All of them are
available online as well as at your local book stores. Books can be purchased by clicking the links
