About Comisky and Denton Family
The Kuzminski - Comisky - Comiskey. Labuda, Wasula and Denton family tree(s) was started by Janet Denton, daughter of Julia Comisky and wife of Herbert Denton as a retirement project. With the help of family, Tribal Pages Geneology group, England researchers and friends the tree has grown to include in-laws,grandparents and grandchildren of the various family members.
Thanks to all who have participated. Without the help of the Comisky, Comiskey, Labuda, Wasula, Denton and extended family members this site would not have turned out as well as it has. Thank you all.
There is more information to come (hopefully) with stories and pictures. Memories of the farm years and especially of our aunts, uncles and our grandparents. Some stories have already been posted on this site. Stories of your journey through life would be great to have as well. Keep in mind that this walk through life will be interesting someday to the very young ones in our families.
The Comisky family is a very interesting group. Some stories tell tragic tales of those lost way too young and some are interesting in that they lay out our beginnings right from our grandparents down to the littlest ones.
Note: Michael and Helen's children: I have used the common names of Comiskey and Comisky as I was unable to verify when Michael and Helena changed their name to Comisky from Kuzminsky. 1910 US census show Sophia and Jon with the last names of Kuzminski. Anthony was baptised under the last name Kuzminski. However, with out confirmation through actual birth certifcates (which are untainable to me) I could not confirm birth names for Michael and Helen's children: Anna, Michael & Annie, Peter, Anthony, Stephen, Julia, and Catherine. The Denton family is equally as interesting and takes us all back to the Boer War, 1st World World, the Defense of Ladysmith (South Africa) and to a town in Rushden, Northamptonshire, England where the Denton shoe factory (known as D&B Shoe) is still a major employer.
With any luck, information on our Comisky grandparent's beginning will be found. I would also like to continue searching ancestory information on the Denton family Keep updates, pictures and stories coming my way and I will make sure they are included.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
