Welcome to the Jones-Houston family tree website.  You are about to embark on a journey like no other.  We pray that you will enjoy the ride.

I never imagined that this would turn into such a huge project.  I was just sitting around one day  and I had this idea about creating a family t-shirt with a tree or broken chain link on it.  I  could not decide what I really wanted.  So in talking to my sister, some how she went another route.  She went on-line and found this website for developing family trees.  Anyone who knows  Rosa, knows she is constantly thinking about something.  So off she went, creating this family  tree.

We have spent hours inputting names, dates and stories.  It truly is amazing to see, or at least we  thought it was.  It is also funny how when we were asking different relatives about family information they could not just give us the name of the person we were looking for, they had to always tell a story.  That's the John Houston gene for sure.  One day we hope to capture as many of those stories as we can.

Please feel free to explore.  We have attempted to gather as much information as possible about  both the Jones and Houston branches of our family.  If you have any information that you would like added, please let us know.  It has been an interesting journey to learn about where we come from.

It is important that we learn and share as much as we can.  We want to see the Jones-Houston legacy  live on for years to come.  You never know where you may end up and find someone who knows  something about Panola Alabama.
