My name is Dale, I married Dolores on June 9th, 1987 at the time Dolores had four children, Natalie, Michelle, Shawna and Wes. Together we have embraced each other and become an extraordinary family. Dolores was married a couple times before she met me, she said she just kept going til she got it right, isn't that sweet. Anyway now we have six grandchildren as well and I thought it might be a good idea to start keeping a record of all this.

It has proven to be a daunting task to build a family tree, she has hers, I have mine, and then there's the extra husbands. So I decided to heck with it and started building this which I proudly call the FAMILY FOREST. Lots of work to do yet!

Just for fun:
 Rules for Teachers ~ 1872 ~ Denman Island, B.C.
Teachers, each day, will fill lamps and clean chimneys.
Each teacher will bring a bucket of water and a scuttle of coal for a days session.
Make your pens carefully: you may whittle nibs to the individual taste of the pupil.
Men teachers may have one evening each week for courting purposes, or two evenings if they go to church regularly.
After 10 hours in school a teacher may spend the remaining time reading the Bible or other good books.
Women teacher who marry or engage in unseemly conduct will be dismissed. Any teacher who smokes, uses liquor in any form, frequents pool or public halls or gets shaved in a barber shop, will give good reason to suspect his worth, intention, integrity and honesty.
A teacher who performs his labour faithfully and without fault for 5 years will be given an increase of 25 cents a week in his pay, providing the Board of Education approves.

Enjoy!

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
