Thanks!

Daniel Bender, the first ancestor in this genealogy, lived at Langendorf in Germany. Very little is known of his father’s family. The naturalization papers of his son Wilhelm, whose record appears under No. 563 in this book, father of the writer, states that “he arrived in the United States of America from Hessedarmstadt, the place of his nativity.”
