About Davey family tree
The "Davey " family has been and is a diverse group. As names alter thru the generations (Davy/Davye/Davey), it becomes difficult to trace lineage at times. The earliest traceable Davey ancestor was 1508 and unfortunately, until a confirmation is discovered to be otherwise, an assumption must be made that the origin could be from elsewhere like Cuckfield in Sussex, England and not further back in Cornwall.

Other branches and marriage origins go back to 1300.

It is recorded that "Davy" is from France from the 1066 Norman invasion but there is no evidence for this.

The Davey family has many branches and is spread far and wide across the globe, particularly in the USA, Canada and Australia. No attempt as yet (2018) has been made to trace relations who migrated to places other than Australia.
I, Ronald Davey (b 1953 in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia) am the patriarch and record keeper and trust that the record created here can be passed on and continued for generations to come thru my descendants.
