Having spent years working on the Nathaniel Burton Rogers (my mother's grandparents) Family Tree, I am now pruning and graphing my father's side into a Tree of it's own. I do both of these to honor my grandparents, who notably cared about family and keeping everyone connected. I can still see our Granny Taylor eagerly awaiting the mail, or at that time, a phone call from one of her children or grandchildren. She never talked about her growing up, her past that I recall. I wish I had been old enough at the time to have asked her. I do not remember her husband at all, but hope others that do will add to the notes. I have only newspaper articles/things I find on the internet to go by. If you read this, call (or email) a sibling or other relative today, keep the chain going. In some way I think Granny Taylor will know and be warmed by it.... and if you never knew her, consider your grandparents, they would care as well. Of this line, Ed Brodnax, then Ned Taylor, and then myself are the oldest living family members. I would like to include Jack Timberlake in this list, Mary Greer's husband, as he is certainly a family member! This list represents Huldah and Edwin Hart Taylor's children.. Sarah, Mary, Ed and Jerome, Huldah did not have any children. Remember, contact a family member today!
