About The Whyman Family
Please sign in to see more.
Hello and welcome to my website! I hope you find it interesting and informative. Please feel free to leave a message in the guest book if you so wish.

I must thank Alan Sabey for giving me lots of information regarding the decendants of the Massingales.

I must also thank Peter Gibson for all the information he gave me regarding the ancestors of my mum Florence Emily Tomlinson (known as Barbara).

I would just like to say that I am very fortunate to have a close and loving family, I love each and everyone of you and I am proud to call you my family!!! Many many thanks to my Mum and Dad, for though having to bring up so many children and there were some bad times, the good times are always the ones that come to mind, I think I speak for all of us when I say 'you did a good job!' we all love you very much!!!

With lots of love to all my Family... Ellen xx

ps. Just a note to be taken into consideration, where I have found christening dates, I have put this year in as the birth year, this may not be the case as I have subsquently found out that christenings sometimes occured years after the birth. In most cases it appears to be very close to the birth year, if not the actual year of birth.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
