About Familia Bassan

La familia Bassan de este árbol familiar tiene sus raices en Italia.  Através  de los años los Bassanitos se movieron a Bulgaria donde nació el famoso Don  Nessim Bassan, más conocido como abuelito Nessim.  En el año 1908 con todo y  uniforme de soldado del ejército Turco, viajó hacia Jerusalem.  Después siguió  hasta Alepo, Siria, donde vivía su hermano mayor, el profesor de la Alianza  Israelita Isaac Bassan.  En Siria, abuelito Nessim conoció a la señorita Raquel  Mizrahi y con la bendición de D-s se casaron. Tuvieron tres hijos en Siria,  Moises, Esther y Alegra.

La joven familia quería inmigrar a Nueva York, Estados Unidos, pero en aquel  tiempo no habían visas para toda una familia.  Así que decidieron inmigrar al  Istmo de Panamá porque un hermano de Raquel vivía allí.

Panamá les dió la bienvenida a la joven familia Bassan.  Nacieron cinco hijos  más, Sion, Alberto, David, Ruthy y Jacobo.  Desde este momento la familia  Bassan siguió ramificándose gracias a D-s.  La vida de recién llegados al nuevo  país no fue fácil, pero sobrevivieron.  Hoy en día es un Panamá más grande y  moderno al que encontraron los abuelos Nessim y Raquel.

A D-s le agradezco que la familia Bassan tiene raices fuertes y muchas hojas  con nombres, llevando bien en alto el nombre de la familia.

Espero que actualizen este árbol geneálogico con los nombres que hacen falta.   Este árbol es para ustedes disfrutar y actualizar.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list.
