About Holloway to Daniels, Peak to Clark and Tinkham to De Moranville and Allied Families
I got into researching my family tree not long after my grandmother, Pearl Marie Holloway- Janow, passed away in 2010. My cousin, Greta, showed me what research she had done back in the 90s and made copies of everything she had. After I started researching, I was hooked. It's been a very interesting four years of researching and I am always learning something new about ancestors and distant cousins. The research is an ever-going process. So there will be changes occasionally.
I created this page to share what I have discovered with friends and family. Any additions/corrections will be greatly appreciated. Just e-mail me at LadyHunter423@aol.com and put in subject box "Family Tree Site Changes".
I hope that everyone enjoys this site and learns more from it about their ancestors and family connections that they don't already know! If you would like to contribute to the research costs or this website, please e-mail me and I will let you know mailing details for donations.
NOTE: that there may be errors in the tree (humans do make errors) so please always double check for accuracy! There are also unlinked individuals here too that I haven't found where they belong yet. Everything is a work in progress so please be patient with the info on here and me! Also when you request membership of the site please be patient with me because I don't get online as much as I used to. Also if your name isn't in my family file yet please send me the information and I will have you added onto it and update the site. THANKS!
***ATTENTION***
MAYFLOWER LINES I am absolutely positive of is Peter Browne (through marriage of his daughter to the first of the Tinkham line, Ephraim) and William White (through the DeMoranville and Crapo marriage of Louis and Susanna [Susanna is from the White line]). More info and updates coming soon to you!
Also listed below is a list of websites that I use a lot. Two of them needs all the volunteers they can get. They are findagrave.com and tennesseegravestones.org. They are trying to establish an online database of tombstone images. So if you ever have time to contribute to this, other family tree researchers and I would greatly appreciate the effort! They are FREE to use!

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
