About Family Inquiry by Linda Walden
Welcome to this web site. This is about seventeen years of research combined in one  large file of over 8000 ancestors and related families of my husband and  myself. To connect the two families I have included my husband and myself and  except for my parents we are the only living people in the file. We spent days  removing all the living people and may have missed some, please email me if  you find any living people.  We have found some mistakes and have been working  to correct them. If you find mistakes please email me and I will make the  correction. I have worked with several of our friend's to help them find their  illusive ancestors. I really enjoy the researching and the thrill of finding  information. This is a quotation that I found on another web sight that I  really liked;
         "Genealogy is not chiseled in stone but is derived from fleeting foot prints in the sand."

   I would like to offer my services to anyone that would like help. I am working on my certification to become a certified Genealogist. For any copies or research outside of the Internet I will charge a minimal fee to cover expenses. Send requests to Linda Walden at familyinquiry@ymail.com

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
