There are a great many interesting stories handed down over the years, some of which some of which
have already been included here. Hopefully some of you will add more stories so that future generations can share our history.

Many thanks to family members who were interested enough in helping to compile this family tree,
particular thanks to Hilary Gray, Paul Connell, grandson of Kathleen Grimshaw, and to Sarah Hill,
great great great grandaughter of Thomas Moxon Jnr, whose assistance have been invaluable. Sarah and I worked together to unravel the origins of Thomas Moxon Jnr and in the process found that
his father, Thomas Snr had been transported to Australia in 1791. Paul and I delved into the Grimshaw history and found the "Black Sheep", Samuel Goulbourn Grimshaw!
A special thanks to Hilary who has done most of the research into the Tames, Parrs and Marchbanks.

I would be delighted to receive your comments and any further information you may have. My sources of information are mainly from Parish Registers; Family Search; Ancestry; Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates and Census lists.
Please check for errors that may have occurred .
If you feel you would rather not be listed in the tree please inform me. I hope you enjoy browsing through Our Lancashire Family.
When most family members are happy with their dates and information I can order a CD for members to
play on their computers. Some family members may prefer this if they are not au fait with the internet.
You can also print out free charts of your tree and ancestors.
