A little history on my families

I recently became curious about my family history and background and started to  Research my family roots. 
 The Soffe and its related families lived mainly in Ealing, Minstead, Massachusetts,  New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Africa, Ireland and other areas.  There are gaps in respect of dates of birth, dates of Marriage and dates of  Death. 
 If you notice any errors in my WebPages regarding any individuals or Families  please feel free to email me with your information, and sources for your  information.
 I am hoping that those who visit this page will E-mail me with any information which  will help me to fill in the gaps. I am from the United Kingdom side of the Soffe and  would like any help from the other country Soffe please.
 There is a sports goods manufacturer in USA with the same Family name and have  had a reply to my emails.
 The families that I am most interested in at this point in time are the Soffe,  Batten, Norris and Crooke families. I would love photographs if anyone has any  on these families or any of the other families that are already on this site  that they are willing to share as I do not have many on some of these families.

Minstead had one Well-known resident: Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the writer and he  is buried there.
