My name is Linda Gail Jarrett Bennett.  I am establishing this record  primarily for our granddaughters, Britley Ella Bennett and Kaitlyn Brianne  Ford.  I have learned there is usually one person in a family that is  inclined to be the "family historian" and since I was the one blessed with so  much already in a written record I assumed this role.

Much of this information has been collected by other members of my father's  family, especially his younger sister, Essie Mae Jarrett.  She acquired this  information from her parents and cousins and began her research in earnest in  her early adulthood. Many others have been helpful as I began to include  extended families and I am truly grateful for their patience and proofing.

If anyone has something they would like to contribute, personal information,  pictures ( I will eventually add some I have ) or even little things they  remember being told of these families, send it to me and I will add it to  what is already here.

Your family information is important to completing this document and will be  for all of your loved ones to enjoy.
