About The Givens Wynn family tree
The Givens Family History website pays tribute to those ancestors who came before us, and the descendants that will come after us. The Givens family is a relatively small clan compared to other families. Dorothy Mae Wynn, one of 3 sisters married Edwin Willis Givens, one of two sons. Together they had 3 children: Linda Jean, Mark Vincent and Cheryl Ann. The Givens kids are stair- stepped in age this time of year between September and December; we are one year apart (smile).

The thought has always been that our family is 'small'. That idea changed significantly when genealogy research shows huge ancestral families on both sides. Although Edwin's mother Thelma Woods was an only child, her parents (Woods/Blair) were from large families; and therefore she had cousins galore. On Dorothy's mother (Florida Hodges) side, Grandmommy had 9 brothers and sisters; and we are still searching for Hodges and Gayle/Gale relatives.

Our goal simply is to know. This Givens generation is duty-bound to pass along any and all family lore to the next generation. We simply cannot let our family line breakdown. Yes, we are small but we are somebody! Our kids and grandkids, nieces and nephews need to have this information available to them. I trust and hope they will use it in the fulfillment of ther lives and the lives of their children, and their children's children when the time comes.
God bless the Givens family (Givens-Hayes-Booth) in the years and generations to come.

ANCESTOR'S NAMES: Givens, Woods, Blair, Young; Wynn, Hodges, Gayles/Gales

Blessings,
 Cheryl Ann

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
