Part of the Trask history came from the Brookfield, VT "Historical Society Book,Town History" with entries provided by Ruth A Trask Stoddard, who was the town clerk for Brookfield, Orange VT. (also a relative). This book was a single run edition and now out of print. Primary are two pages of information. Copies of those two pages were faxed to me by the care taker of the cemeteries in Brookfield, VT area.
Additional information acknowledged by my Vermont Uncle, Robert Green. We visited a family cemetery, East Hill in Brookfield, VT near the Trask farm, also Brookfield Center, VT areas in 2003 to take photos of tombstones and record: names, dates and other information on the tombstones.

A special thanks to Howard Arthur Steck for his input- "Our Family"
                                                  with stories, his remembering family.
My Mothers mother: STAIB - from Germany to 1841
HILL - from Taunton, Somerset, England,

There are discrepancies of dates: tombstones, vital records: birth & death, marriages certificates, newspaper obituaries, oral history , US & Canadian Census, Social Security Records... etal. This may be due to interpertation of hand writing. In these instances I used my best judgement. Sometimes impossible to know the real accuracy.

Any errors found will be corrected as they are pointed out to me. Keep in mind I am of the 1940 era. Retired now, working feverishly on the family history.
