As a new and young enthusiast, learning how to and where to find information on the internet with delving into my Family Tree I went a bit overboard and believed everything I saw. Now 30 odd years down the track I realise that unless names are backed up with proof from certificates nothing is guaranteed. So some of the names, dates and places need to be confirmed. Plus over the years I have managed to digress with descendants and ancestors as well and various branches. Some would say we are not related as we are too far removed. But that is the curiosity of wanting to know where I come from and who fits into the same perhaps genetic box. Yes I have since done DNA testing but very new to that aspect of Genealogy so still learning all about DNA. Guess I am just a typical genealogist who gets diverted with all the information that comes to hand. I have found it interesting and intriguing as to how and where the WARNEFORD name came to be connected to various families. So this is a now a site for all ancestors, descendants and branches of Warneford's all over the world including the maternal trees. I first started with John Warneford 1369 - 1393. I do have a book where the line starts from 1189 written by Francis E Warneford. All are welcome to add information, photos etc to share with all of us. I will keep updating this site as time goes on. Please feel free to correct me if I have wrong information plus I also realise that I have doubled up on some names and am going thru as i am able to rectify and make those double ups as one. Hopefully this is an opportunity for people to connect or re-connect. I live in New Zealand and am a 4th generation Warneford in New Zealand even though my surname is not Warneford. My great grandmother was a Warneford before she married. So welcome all and have fun meeting each other.
So after all these years of searching and compiling my Warneford tree both from the internet and my own research I have put what I have on here. I am very intrigued at how many of the families, especially in the earlier years, are inter-twined with each other and how we are descended from several siblings in one family in many instances. Some information comes from others (some from Genes Reunited) who have been researching the same families.
If anyone has any photos they would like to see included in here send me an email and iI
