About The Hambling & Taylor Family Tree
Please sign in to see more.
Welcome to my site of the Hambling & Taylor family.

I can remember many years ago. Mum telling me of all the different places that she had lived at in her years of growing up. This was due to her father's occupation. Arthur Fredrick Hambling was employed by Trinity House as a Lighthouse Keeper.

I've always been fascinated with my family history. With the aid of the Internet it gives people like me the opportunity to carry out the research which is required in tracing ones family history.

March 14th.
I now have many Census records of this Hambling family. If you need a copy of any let me know.
If
you have anything to add or find a mistake let me know. If anyone has any photos that you are
willing to share I would be most grateful. I don't mind what condition they are in. I can
repair
them in Photoshop.

I'm posting some photos of unknowns which were in the same box as all the other photos from Gran & Grandad Hambling. I think they are family, or to do with Trinity House. On some there will be a small description. This will be the advice from people who have knowledge of old photographs. Click on the full photo to see all info. I would love to be able to put names to faces. Please do look at them. Thanks. I have had my Ancestry D N A results. 80% England, Wales & Northwestern Europe 17% Ireland & Scotland 3% Sweden I have now added more people with the name HEMBLING. This is because I have found Noah who was born in 1791 at Ilketshall, Suffolk, England emigrated to Canada but his father William born in 1770 his surname was HAMBLING.

Update 18th June. More names of the Hambling/ Hembling family & Taylor. Lots of people from the Horlock family. Many more added. Some names are spelt wrong. It is how they are on the documents. Some place names no longer exist.

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
