Royaume Bana fondé en 1424 par Halieu.

Fon Happi II a régné plus de 54 ans, de 1925 à 1980, succédant à Fon Happi I qui avait régné plus de 64 ans.

Ces deux rois eurent plusieurs épouses et de nombreux enfants, 80 pour Fon Happi I et 210 pour Fon Happi II, ce qui permit de densifier la population du royaume.
Vers 1380 trois chasseurs venus de Mendou (l’actuel Bamedjou), Nza Pwandji, Nza Tiayah et Nza Tchokogwé sont à l'origine du royaume coutumier. Plus tard, Nza Pwandji donnera en mariage sa fille Menkwé à son ami Nza Tchokogwe. 

C'est de cette union que naîtront trois enfants : Halieu, Nsialieu et Nahgah. En 1424, Halieu fonde le royaume Bana,  insatiable conquérant il faisait trembler ses voisins. 

Il fut surnommé "Nee" (qui signifie: forcer, pourchasser) d'où l'appellation Pa Nee (ceux de "Nee"), Bana est issu de ce nom qui est le nom que les voisins des Bana donnaient en raison de leur caractère belliqueux. En effet, le peuplement de la Commune est ancien, suite aux multiples mouvements migratoires qui se sont déroulés vers la seconde moitié du XVe siècle dans toute la zone.
Jusqu'à nos jours 12 rois se sont succédé dans ce royaume;

de 1865 – 1925 Happi I. Nka'la'ku, (décédé en 1925)

de 1925 – 1980 Happi II. Taffou, (décédé en 1980)

de 1980 – 1981 Happi III. Wembeu Joseph, (décédé en 1981)

de 1981 – 2003 Happi IV. Kontchipe Tafhu Joseph, (décédé en 2003)

The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index.
