About The Hudson/Williams Family Tree
Happy 2021 Family,

So sorry that I haven’t updated lately; this has been a crazy year. As a reminder, I created this website because I wanted to have a forum where all of us, no matter where we live, could stay in touch. While the name Hudson/Williams was the starting point of this tree it now incorporates many family branches. We are all intertwined in some way, shape or form to each other. What an amazing, big, beautiful family!!

I’m so excited to share that Ancestry.com has come through again and I’ve been in touch with more HUDSON relatives. Gary Gray and Earlean “Queen Cookie” Belcher are descendants of Viola Hudson and bring a wealth of more family knowledge. Earlean shared the MOST AMAZING photo of Arkansas Tannehill Hudson, her daughter Viola Hudson Boyle and her daughter Henrietta dated about 1904. I’ve searched the Hudson and Tannehill families for years and now have a photo of Arkansas (pronounced Ar-Kansas). My heart is so full!! Earlean is sending more photos of Viola’s descendants and I’ll upload them shortly.

Sadly, in 2020 we bid farewell to Sandra Bryant Keene; spouse of Bruce Keene and Rueben Smith ; spouse of Dorothy Hudson Smith) . (See their obituaries in the the Stories section). Keep all of our family in prayer. We’ve had job losses, illnesses and deaths but by the grace of God we are all still thriving.
As a reminder, your anniversary, birthdays, etc. will ONLY show up in the AUTO-GENERATED monthly Newsletter if you input it here. I don’t write the newsletter. Feel free to add information, photos and people. Finally, if you want to know how you’re related to someone on this site simply click on the PEOPLE tab and drop down to RELATIONSHIPS. You can select two names and calculate your relationship.

As always, I’m sure there are other things going on but if you don’t post or share, we’ll never know. When you’re uploading those photos to Facebook and Instagram, upload them here too. Don’t make me be a social media stalker! LOL! Email me at phailey165@aol.com or call me (630) 338-9512 and I’ll be glad to help or update for you. We are grateful to have each other and need to stay in touch.

Enjoy your day, share the love, and be blessed! Hugs and Kisses!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
