YIKES…It’s 2023 Family!!

I’m truly blessed to be alive and well and providing this update. This website began as I was looking for ways to store all the information that I could find on my maternal grandmother’s Family - HUDSON and maternal grandfather’s family - WILLIAMS.  As family roots spread deep and wide, we now have 1,088 names on this family website.  While you might not be directly related to each and every one…we are all connected!

In 2021, we bid farewell to several Hudson Family members:  siblings Dorothy Ann Hudson Smith whose services were in Youngstown, Ohio and Donald Louis Hudson who was memorialized in Los Angeles, California.  They were my great-aunt and great-uncle and siblings of my grandmother Hazel Hudson Williams and passed on the same day.  Our hearts went out to our aunt and only remaining sibling, Gwendolyn Hudson Lazard.  Their nephew and our cousin Melvin Ray Duncan passed in the spring of 2022 and had a wonderful home going service in Cleveland, Ohio. 

2022 was my most emotional year ever.  On Jun 25, 2022 our (Bruce, Debra, Pamela and Mark) beloved mother Theresa Williams gained her wings and just a few short months later, our father Walter Benjamin Keene received his heavenly reward on October 16, 2022. Once again, family traveled to Cleveland to lend their support and love. It’s taken a bit to process but we were so blessed for so many years that we just have to rejoice when we think about all the precious memories.

I’ve added the obituaries of all of the above family members to the STORIES dropdown on the PEOPLE tab and they are all titled Rest in Peace followed by their names.  Check it out then use the RELATIONSHIPS drop down (also on the PEOPLE tab) to see how you’re related.

In 2023 we’ll add new family members as LaTeira Haynes, Bruce Keene and Mark Keene have found the ones they plan to spend the rest of their lives with.  Weddings loading soon!!

As a reminder, your anniversary, birthdays, etc. will ONLY show up in the AUTO-GENERATED monthly Newsletter if you input it here. I don’t write the newsletter; the data just pulls from the website. Feel free to add information, photos and people. If you’re not familiar with doing it yourself just reach out as I’m happy to help!

I’m sure there are other things going on but if you don’t post or share, we’ll never know.  When you’re uploading those photos to Facebook and Instagram, etc. upload them here too.
