About The Brunton Family
Welcome to my family website.
I have spent a lot of time putting this website together with as much information and pictures that I have.
I am now putting most of the obituaries
under stories and attaching them to some pictures for that person. So just go under the stories
title under people and find the obituary and other family stories. I am now also putting info under Files that allows me to put in letters etc. in the original form as written. If anyone knows of something that needs to be changed or would like to see added, please let me know. You can now make changes or additions yourself to your immediate family by going under VIEW and then click on TREE and then on CHANGE otherwise you have to go through me.
If you can't get it to work, you will need to get a new invite by me to make you a member of the website
and not just a visitor since this was a recent change by the website. I have also been allowed to
put in an additional 5000 pictures without increasing my cost so I am happy about that for the future. You can contact me through this website on guestbook or my own e-mail address, at ivoryac@midwestinfo.com I hope that you enjoy!

added Note: At the 2019 reunion I was happy to get to Know a cousin named Matt Lesher. He has been a lot of help to me in getting a lot more info on the Young, family so I really appreciate that and his interest in researching the Young family. (See my note also on Matt's page) I also want to acknowledge a cousin on the Christensen side from Norway. His name is Johan Clausen. We were able to meet while he was here in America, I believe it was in 2018, and because of his interest in researching that family I gave him entrance to get in and he has put in all of the Danish connections and has helped me with others as well. He has an Album under Photo's called," the Danish Family," for his pictures so that they can be seen separately. I hope everyone will take a look at what they have both done to add to this website and to make it as correct as we can make it.

The info I have in this so far and am continuing to make more entries as I find them or as they happen. Please let me know of changes in your family so that I can update them. I Have also started the family history on the Iverson family. My siblings and I have also done a family album. We have been bringing them to the Young and Christensen family reunions where we enjoyed seeing many of you.

Dawne (Preston) Price is the president of the Young/Christensen reunions, and she has been
doing a fantastic job! Great Job Dawne! We just had our 2019 Young reunion at Lyons Ne, Happy Days Senior Center! What a wonderful event and Dawne was absolutely amazing getting
it all put together and hosting it once again. Thank you also to Lila for her help in getting it all set up and also for helping me with getting my picture slideshow set up for all to see the pictures of the Youngs. You can view the pictures for the reunion under photos album "Young Reunion 2019" or any other album you wish to view.

We just came home from the 2022 Young reunion, and I am finally getting an update for the home page. We had a great time. We honored Kay Young as she passed away on May 22, 2022. Please look under stories for her Memorial.
We had beautiful weather this year but still had the reunion at the Senior Citizens building and then many came to Dawne and Bills afterward for more good food delicious Hot dogs roasted on a fire in their back yard. To see the pictures, look in album Young Family Reunion 2022.

Thanks again Dawne and Bill for keeping it going. Everyone had a wonderful time visiting and sharing their memories. We were happy to have some new members come that had never been there before and others who came from long distances which was so inspiring to help us try to keep the tradition going every two years.

In 2016 we had Christensen reunion in Germantown MD with Uncle Franklin and Aunt Gloria, our only ones still living. They are both in their 90's and unable to travel to Nebraska anymore
for the reunions so we brought the reunion to them. (update): We lost Franklin on November 28, 2017, and Gloria passed away in Feb, 2021. Please look under stories for her memorial page. We will miss them so much. Franklin was the youngest in the Waldo Christensen family.

If you want to see the pictures from that Reunion
together go to Photo/index, look in the Waldo
Christensen album and Push upload by date and the most recent pictures will come up first. If you want to look at other family pictures, push on the picture of which family you want to look at otherwise just go to each individual's name that you want to look at.
at and all their genealogy and pictures for that person will be there. Be sure to check below for
all the instructions on how this website works so that you can get its full benefit of viewing your
 family history.
You can also order DVD's and genealogy posters from this site. There is a cost for both but they
would make wonderful gifts to your children and grandchildren so they will always have their family record.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN THE GUESTBOOK EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEFORE AS I ENJOY HEARING FROM YOU AND IT LETS ME KNOW THAT YOU WERE IN THE WEBSITE. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

We don’t choose your family they are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.” As a rule, we do not notice this in our everyday busy lives. We just know that we have our mom and dad, grandparents, and other family members. And only in some specific moments we realize how these people are important to us, and that no one else in this world will love us as they do.
As we do with many things in life, we sometimes wait too long to discover who our ancestors were. If we would have only asked the questions before they were gone. Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose. That is why I decided to take the time to do this family history and to share with as many family members as possible.
My hope and prayer would be that our children and their children's children will have never forgotten
this and will keep it alive.

I hope you enjoy and God Bless you all.
 Love,
Sharon Brunton Iverson

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
